Who we are

Welcome to Eden’s Tea.
Nestled on our little bush farm in country Queensland, Eden’s Tea is a small family business dedicated to crafting organic loose leaf herbal tea blends with care, intention and respect for nature.
Every blend is hand mixed in small batches using thoughtfully selected herbs, allowing us to focus on quality rather than quantity. We believe the best things aren’t rushed, and that philosophy is woven into everything we create.
Whether you’re brewing your morning cup or winding down at the end of the day, our hope is that every pot of tea brings a small moment of peace to your day.

Timeline

Early Childhood

A Love of Herbs Begins

Herbal tea has been part of my life from the very beginning. As a baby, chamomile picked from my grandparents’ garden brought comfort, and those simple moments planted the seeds of a lifelong connection with herbs and nature.

Teenage Years

Teenage Years

As I grew older, every visit to the city included a stop at the local herbal tea shop. Shelves filled with beautiful loose-leaf blends sparked my curiosity and inspired a fascination that only continued to grow.

A Journey Towards Wellbeing

A diagnosis of Hashimoto’s hypothyroidism changed the way I thought about health. Searching for ways to support my wellbeing led me into the world of herbs, nutrition, and the simple power of everyday rituals.

Years of Learning

From Curiosity to Craft

What began as a search for answers became a lifelong passion. For more than seventeen years, I have studied traditional herbal wisdom and modern research, blending teas for myself, family, and friends while continually learning along the way.

January 2023

The Birth of Eden’s Tea

One sunny afternoon, while enjoying a mug of one of my own blends, a simple thought came to mind: “Maybe other people would enjoy these too.” That quiet moment became the beginning of Eden’s Tea.

Today

Today, every blend is still handcrafted in small batches on our little bush farm in country Queensland. What began as a personal passion has grown into a business dedicated to bringing moments of calm, comfort, and connection to every cup.

Our Story

A lifelong love of herbs

Herbal tea has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.

Long before Eden’s Tea existed, there was a little girl whose grandparents reached for home-grown or wild-foraged chamomile to soothe an irritable baby. As I grew, a warm cup of herbal tea became part of my evening routine, and by my teenage years I was seeking out little herbal tea shops whenever we visited the city, fascinated by shelves lined with blends I’d never seen before.

Looking back, I realise herbs didn’t become part of my story. They’ve been there since the very beginning.

A personal journey

Everything changed over seventeen years ago when I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s hypothyroidism.
After feeling frustrated that conventional medicine could manage my condition but offered few answers for helping me feel well, I began learning about the relationship between food, lifestyle and health. Suddenly there were long lists of foods to avoid, and for someone who loved cooking and experimenting in the kitchen, those restrictions felt incredibly discouraging.
Herbs became a new outlet for my curiosity.

Learning through nature

What began as a search for answers soon became a lifelong passion. For more than seventeen years, I’ve immersed myself in the study of herbs, exploring both traditional herbal wisdom and modern research, always with the curiosity of a lifelong student. They opened the door to a whole new world of learning, creating and experimenting, and I discovered the simple joy of working with plants.
Along the way, I was fortunate to be guided by a wonderful naturopath whose wisdom and encouragement helped shape my journey. More than seventeen years later, she remains a trusted and valued part of my healthcare team, and I continue to be grateful for her guidance.

As my knowledge grew, so did my collection of jars filled with dried herbs. I blended teas for myself, then for family and friends. Those jars travelled with us from home to home and even around Australia in our caravan. Wherever we went, my little herbal apothecary came too.
Then, on a sunny afternoon in January 2023, while sitting outside with a mug of one of my own blends, a simple thought appeared:
“Maybe other people would enjoy these too.”

The birth of Eden’s Tea

I created a Facebook page, reached out to a friend who already had a small business to ask where to begin (thank you, Paula!), and after many ideas were tossed around the dinner table, I realised the simplest name was the right one.
Eden’s Tea was born.

Since then, what began as a lifelong passion has grown into a business I’m incredibly grateful for. We’ve shared our teas at local markets and special events, created personalised blends for customers, partnered with wonderful local retailers, and most recently developed an exclusive signature collection for a local café.

For me, Eden’s Tea has never simply been about tea.
It’s about sharing something that has brought joy, comfort and connection throughout my own life, and hoping that each cup invites someone else to slow down, breathe deeply, and enjoy a small moment of peace.

From a tiny cup of chamomile given to soothe an irritable baby, to the blends I handcraft today, herbs have been one of life’s greatest gifts. It is a privilege to share that lifelong love with you, one cup at a time.

Our Mission

Our Philosophy

Daily Ritual

At Eden’s Tea, we believe tea is far more than a drink.
It is a daily ritual. A quiet pause. A gentle invitation to slow down and reconnect with ourselves, with nature, and with the simple rhythms that are so easily forgotten.

Respect Nature

We believe herbs deserve to be respected.
For thousands of years, people around the world have turned to plants for nourishment and wellbeing. We honour that rich tradition by thoughtfully selecting organic herbs and blending them with care, curiosity, and respect.

Handcrafted Quality

We believe quality matters.
Every Eden’s Tea blend is handcrafted in small batches because we believe care cannot be rushed. From sourcing beautiful ingredients to blending each batch by hand, we choose intention over convenience and quality over quantity.

Simple Healing

Most of all, we believe that caring for yourself doesn’t need to be complicated.
Sometimes wellbeing begins with something beautifully ordinary.
A kettle beginning to sing.
Steam rising from your favourite mug.
A few quiet moments that belong only to you.

Final thoughts…

Tea won’t solve everything.
But perhaps it can remind us to pause, breathe deeply, and return to the things that matter most.
Because in a world that is always asking us to hurry…
we believe there is quiet wisdom in slowing down.
